Deleting Backed Up Drivers in DriverFinder
Last Updated 10 months ago
Backing up drivers is a safe practice to apply. However, after you've successfully downloaded, installed, and used a new driver for some time, you could consider deleting the backed-up driver to save on valuable hard disk space on your machine.
Please be aware that DriverFinder creates an automated backup of a driver before a driver update is installed.
To delete backed-up drivers:
- On the main window, click the Restore button.
- Right-click on a backed-up driver, then select Delete.
- In the confirmation window, click Yes.
